The Carlisle Artists' Hub - More Anti-English Bigotry - And Land Stealing

Abomination - the fake sign erected by the Carlisle Artists' Hub outside Carlisle. In an era where you can die in England for want of medication available on the NHS in subsidised Scotland, such "fun" is, in reality, nothing short of crass.

Not content with the Scottish Parliament's undemocratic rule over the River Tweed and its tributaries, nor Scots' attempts to grab Berwick-Upon-Tweed, the Carlisle Artists' Hub, a group of twittering anti-English PC English folks, Scots and "wannabe Scots", have decided to open up a "fun debate" about whether Carlisle should be in Scotland.

They've erected a fake road sign outside Carlisle, proclaiming "Welcome To Scotland".

From the CEP News Blog:

Any CEP members in the Carlisle area might like to pay a visit and correct the offending sign which, if placed on the roadside, falls foul of the Traffic Signs Regulations and can be corrected by a member of the public by any reasonable means. Such as replacing the word “Scotland” with “England” for example. Just for fun, of course.

The Carlisle Artists' Hub are a bunch of anti-English twits, who are totally out of touch with the realities of health apartheid, the Barnett Formula, the West Lothian Question, etc.

Their idea of "fun" is viewed as highly offensive here at WENAP Towers - and to any democracy loving soul in modern day England.

Get the bloody sign down and tell the Carlisle Artists' Hub where to stick it!

It has been suggested by one CEP member that someone should take a trip to Edinburgh and plant a “Welcome to England” sign as Edinburgh was once part of the Kingdom of Northumbria. Something tells me the natives wouldn’t find it quite so entertaining.

  1. You took the words right out of my mouth! I was going further north - only I couldn't remember just where Edward (hammer of the scots) actually ended up. THAT's where we should plant our sign - just in fun you understand - nothing like a land grab or anything ... *grin*
