Iain Dale brings the startling news that the Speaker of the House of Commons has banned the Justice For England March from passing our seat of national government - http://iaindale.blogspot.com/2007/04/speaker-changes-route-of-justice-for.html.-
This concerns me greatly. The Speaker, Michael Martin, is, of course, a Scot, and this will do the Scottish image no good at all. Accusations of anti-English racism and screeches of "Scottish Raj!!" will be heard. But it is also another example of the Government refusing to recognise or legitimise the national identity and interests of England.

The people of England are fed up with the democratic deficit levelled at them. They are sick at what appears to be a racist elite dictating to them from the so-called "nations" of the UK.

Scots and Welsh MPs continue to behave in an incredibly arrogant and unfair way, aided and abetted by English MPs, including Jack Straw, who absolutely refuse to do the right thing for their constituents.

The British thing, already tainted with the stain of imperialism, is now also tarnished with the most disgraceful system of devolution, which dictates to and discriminates against the people of England at every opportunity.
