It has always seemed to me that the anti-English French are rather like the anti-English Scots - small minded, bigoted, bitter and bitchy. Today's news of French attempts to rewrite Agincourt and cast the English as "war criminals" is just more evidence of the petty minded, twisted Little Frenchy types across the Channel.
They are wrong. They annoy me. And yet I feel sorry for them. French jealousy of the English is written in letters ten feet tall every time they start bitching about us.
